Danny Phantom is a cartoon for almost all ages. This cartoon follows Danny Fenton a 14 year old freshman in highschool, his bestfriend Tucker Foley and his other bestfriend Sam Manson. When Danny’s parents build a ghost portal to view the mythical ghost zone, Danny enters after a failed test run and gets electrocuted, half killing him. Danny becomes half ghost (called a halfa) and becomes the ghost superhero Danny Phantom, with the help of his friends he defeats bad ghosts from the ghost zone.
Samantha Manson, otherwise known as Sam, is an Ultra-Recyclo-Vegitarian, meaning that she doesn’t “eat any thing with a face”. Sam is also a self-proclaimed Goth and loves horror movies, Sam also comes from a Jewish background. Sam is my favorite character because she is awesome at helping Danny with his ghost problems and kicking ghost butt.
Danny has an older sister Jazz Fenton who is training to be a psychologist. Jazz has much to say about her parents crazy ghost hunting hobby, she is very smart and when she learns about Danny being Phantom is very supportive.
Danny’s parents on the other hand are very hateful towards ghosts and are always building some type of weapon to catch them. Maddie and Jack Fenton are always blaming Phantom for all the ghosts wreaking havok in Amity Park (the town where they live).
The show is great for pre-teens and kids but adults might not like it much. The innaccuracies that always show up in cartoons are defiently there but on a much lower scale. So sit back and begin the show about half ghost teenagers fighting other ghosts with slight difficulties that always are solved by the shows end.
