Spider-man is a timeless superhero icon that kids of all ages know and love. This particular Spider-man movie combines all the Spider-men and women from the beloved comic series.

This movie is about Miles Morales, an African-American teen from Brooklyn, Miles’ parents make him go to a private school and, in retaliation, he goes to the subway station. Underground Miles is tagging a wall when he is bit by a Radioactive spider. When Miles wakes up the next morning his clothes are too big and he is sticking to everything. The teenager goes back to the subway station to try to find out what happened to him, he then gets lost on the way out and finds himself in a huge cavern. Many things happen in this cavern, but the most important thing is that a hole is ripped in the space-time-continum. Miles then meets other Spider-men and women who help him to fix this time anomaly and stop Kingpin.

I really like the animation in this movie, the artists did an amazing job combining the classic comic feel with modern cinematography.

There is a rather large and diverse cast of characters, including Spider-Noir in black and white, Gwen Stacy aka. Spider-women, and Spider-Ham who defies the laws of physics. My favorite is Miles, he is very funny and has a very fleshed out character with sympathy and passion. I also like Gwen Stacy, she is very cool and is able to fight and kick-butt better than Miles and Spider-man.

This movie is great for all ages. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is a very emotional movie that can relate to any audience and can bring the whole family together.
